Our goal is to provide each child with 3 gifts, a game and/or book, and stocking stuffers. The donations that we receive will determine the value and quantity of actual gifts your child(ren) will receive. Clothing and bicycle donations are limited and may not be new with tags. We do our best to make sure any used items are in good or like new condition before including them in your gift packages.

Note, you can only apply to one charity for toys- please disclose applications made to other organizations as we do cross check.

EACH family who is approved for assistance receives a large box of food, a turkey and gifts for each child between 0-17 years old. We provide our low income seniors with a gift certificate from a local grocer.
CHILDREN. We are collecting canned food, new toys, new bikes or cash donations through 12/14/15. We then inventory what we have and go shopping for the rest.

We are a small organization and limit our assistance to Orange City residents in an attempt to take care of our own community. If you or someone you know is in need and in lives outside of Orange City please contact your Chamber of Commerce for a list of charities in your area.

The Orange City Sorosis Club is busy scaring up new victims for our 37th Annual Haunted House! This year, The Tower of Terror, will open on Thurs, Friday and Saturday nights from Oct 22nd through Oct 31st.

The Sorosis Club evolves each Halloween with a different theme from the last. We dare you to step into the Twilight Zone where both the living and the dead are guided by their most primitive of fears. Unimaginable horrors will make you fear for your sanity and your life. You will enter into a vortex that will pull you through 5 horrifying dimensions.  At some point during your tour you'll find yourself  trapped in our infamous maze which will plunge you into complete darkness forcing you to feel your way out. Nothing can prepare you for what lies ahead and your blood-curdling screams are just the beginning. If all of this sounds too scary for your little ones, they can escape into our supervised No Scare Kid Care zone while you take the tour.

It will take over 60 volunteers to transform our 3,000 square foot building into a functional tomb of terror. Last year we had over 2,000 visitors come through raising nearly $10,000. The money we raise goes toward charitable contributions benefiting area children such as scholarships and school supplies. We are in need of donations for the various costs associated with the production and creation of this event. Monetary donations are much appreciated and as we are a registered non-profit organization, your donation may be tax deductible.

Happy New Year! Thank you to our generous donors

Happy New Year! We wish to take this opportunity to thank our donors.

Thanks to all of the generous donations received, 2014 Operation Santa served all of the families and Senior Citizens who applied for assistance. With your donations, Operation Santa was able to hand  out  over 75 food boxes and toys for nearly 200 children!

Special thanks go to the Orange City Lions Club, Orange City Walmart, The Manatee Festival, The Margarita Society, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the City of Orange City/Volusia County Employee Countywide food drive. Their donations, combined with contributions from individuals and businesses from all over the community, allowed Operation Santa to make Christmas brighter for so many families.

You are too many to be listed individually, however, without all of your generous contributions we would not have been able to help make Christmas more special for these families. We are looking forward to 2015, being just as successful.
